Last year I compiled an informal list of what I learned in my first year eating plant-based. I decided to continue the tradition and share about my second year vegan!
This second year was more focused on expanding vegan eating into vegan life. I have removed almost all non vegan makeup and personal care products and replaced them with a vegan version. I also pay closer attention to the materials and fabrics used for clothing and accessories. I have by no means eliminated everything or am perfect, but I am much more conscious that I use to be.
I feel more confident when talking about vegan issues and anti-vegan confrontations. I also no longer feel the need to explain myself when asked about my dietary choices.
Vegan eating is second nature. It feels so natural that food before vegan life seems so long ago. I love how creative I feel in the kitchen and experimental its made me when trying new fruits and vegetables and food combinations.
I’ve learned so much this past year about the vegan lifestyle and look forward to learning more about vegan baking this coming year!
